Jeff Bezos: Newspapers will be a luxury item like horses

Jeff Bezos, Amazon chief and Washington Post owner, was questioned by NBC on whether he sees a day when there is no more a print version of the Washington Post. “Some day, I don’t know how many years in the future – it could be decades – but I think printed newspapers on actual paper may be a luxury item,” Mr Bezos told NBC. “People still have horses but it’s not their primary way of commuting to the office,” he added.
